Job Description
Fantastic opportunity for a RegisteredNurse- Mobile Phlebotomy Supervisor in Trenton, NJ area. This is a full-time permanent position that will start immediately. This is a hands-on AND supervisory role. This position is responsible for performing all duties related to the efficient, safe, and compliant collection of blood and blood products. Works collaboratively as a member of the team and in alignment with the values of the organization. Performs Apheresis Red Cell Collection and/or Plasma Pheresis. Performs Platelet Pheresis and/or Therapeutic Apheresis.
Need to know about this role:
Travel is required during mobile blood bank events. This travel will entail up to two hours (each way) from headquartered office.
RN must have had recent phlebotomy experience. Recent hands-on experience is required.
Working hours are from 5am-10pm. Candidate must be flexible to work within those hours.
Weekend rotating shifts are required.
Supervisory experience is required.

Works as part of a team to achieve daily team production goals.
Assists and supports other team members, as required.
Maintains clean and organized work area.
Drives the company vehicle, as required.
Maintains complete and accurate records, including apheresis charts.
Demonstrates excellent communication skills in accordance with current customer service standards to represent a positive image for the company.
Maintains and ensures equipment, vehicles, and facilities are maintained and kept in good working order.
Maintains proficiency and certification for all tasks required by position.
Trains other team members on additional duties/tasks, as required.
Performs all other duties, at the discretion of management, as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge/Education
Associate's degree required.
Licenses/ Certifications
RN license required.
Valid in-state driver's license preferred.
Experience
Six months previous work experience in a healthcare related position required.

Conduct review of claim data and medical records to make clinical decisions on the coverage, medical necessity, utilization and appropriateness of care per national and local policies, as well as accepted medical standards of care.
Review provider practices and identify issues of concern, overpayment and need for corrective action as necessary; includes surfacing potential fraud and abuse or practice concerns.
May develop recommendations for further corrective action based on medical review findings.
May refer for review, or implement, corrective action related to medical review activities.
May process claims and complete project work in the appropriate computer system(s).
The remaining 10% of time will be spent on the following activities depending on assignments:
Identify providers needing education and individually educate providers who are subject to medical
review processes:
Initiate or participate in provider teaching activities, creating written teaching material, providing one on one education or education to a group as a result of a medical review (e.g., probe, progressive corrective action, consent, etc.) or appeal.
This may involve discussion with CMS leaders and leaders in the provider community.
Participate in special projects as assigned.

This role will be responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, collaborating with healthcare leadership, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality patient care. Key duties include conducting physical assessments, performing diagnostic screenings, administering treatments, maintaining accurate medical documentation, and responding to on-site medical emergencies. The position also involves supervising support staff, upholding infection control protocols, and resolving operational challenges to support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment.
Please note that this is not a travel assignment; local candidates based in Sanderson, Lake City, or Jacksonville are preferred.
Essential Functions:
Oversee daily site operations to ensure adequate staffing, supplies, and equipment are consistently available.
Serve as the primary liaison between the site, CDR Health, and the medical leadership team.
Identify and resolve operational issues such as parking logistics, surge capacity, and staffing shortages.
Maintain quality assurance by training staff and monitoring the effectiveness of site testing procedures.
Provide break relief for clinical staff and assist with specimen collection as needed (PRN).
Supervise CNAs and LPNs to ensure high standards of care and smooth workflow in the medical unit.
Educate patients on their medical conditions, medications, and treatment plans in a clear, compassionate manner.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Conduct initial medical intake screenings for new detainees, including health histories, vital signs, and TB risk assessments.
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for patients admitted to the medical ward.
Administer medications per provider orders and MAR, including injections, wound care, and chronic disease management.
Triage complaints during sick calls and determine appropriate clinical action or provider referral.
Monitor and manage high-risk patients, including those under detox protocols, suicide watch, or other observation categories.
Respond to in-clinic emergencies, delivering ACLS/BLS care and coordinating further treatment when necessary.
Enforce infection control standards, including sanitation practices, PPE compliance, and isolation protocols.
Document patient refusals of care, medication, or observation and escalate concerns when necessary.
Participate in suicide watch procedures, including direct monitoring, timely documentation, and mental health referrals.
Other duties that may arise from time-to-time and/or are commensurate with the title and position.
Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a RegisteredNurse preferred.
Current, active RN licensure in good standing in the state of FL or a compact license.
Current BLS certification at the medical provider level, with the ability to deliver appropriate patient care in urgent or emergent situations while awaiting EMS.
Recent clinical experience within the last 6 months, including proficiency in specimen collection.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods without restriction.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations and in varied settings.
Demonstrated ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
Capable of multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
Able to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
Flexible availability, including late afternoons, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed to respond to emergencies or critical incidents.
Willingness to relocate if needed.

Shifts Available: Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) or Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Facility Hours: Open 7 days a week (Monday through Sunday)
