Senior Warehouse Manager
The Senior Warehouse Manager is a key member of the Operations leadership team, responsible for overseeing all warehouse, inventory, and customer operations functions across Innersense's headquarters and distribution centers. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People Development

Safety, Compliance & GMP

Oversee emergency preparedness, incident reporting, and corrective action planning to uphold a safe and compliant workplace.
Warehouse Operations & Fulfillment
Oversee all inbound and outbound operations to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant order fulfillment.
Collaborate with warehouse leadership to optimize workflows, apply lean methodologies (5S, Kanban, standard work), and improve key performance indicators including OTIF, cycle time, accuracy, and productivity.
Manage transportation negotiations and international shipping operations, balancing cost, service, and compliance with import/export requirements.
Inventory Management & Systems
Ensure inventory accuracy and integrity through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation across NetSuite and RF Smart.
Identify and resolve root causes of discrepancies, implementing corrective actions in partnership with Finance and Operations.
Maintain high data quality to support financial accuracy and supply chain visibility.
Cross-Functional & Strategic Alignment
Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Contract Manufacturing to align warehouse operations with business objectives.
Lead strategic initiatives related to warehouse expansion, automation, and technology enhancement to drive scalability, efficiency, and sustainability.
Champion innovation and process improvements that strengthen cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field - or equivalent experience.
8+ years of progressive experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations management, including leadership of 20+ employees.
Proven success in managing inventory, fulfillment, and distribution operations with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Skilled in negotiating domestic and international transportation contracts and managing global freight operations.
Strong understanding of OSHA and GMP standards in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
Demonstrated expertise in lean methodologies (5S, Kanban, one-piece flow) and process optimization.
Experience leading large-scale operational changes such as expansion, relocation, or automation.
Strategic, data-driven leader with strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS); NetSuite and RF Smart preferred.
Strong vendor management and negotiation capabilities related to logistics and transportation.
About you:

**Job overview and responsibilities**
Manage the distribution processing centers for outsourced component parts. Participate in design of automated solutions to decentralize warehousing activities. Implement continuous improvement (CI) process within the distribution and warehousing organization.
+ Supervise the warehousing and distribution operations in support of the division including receiving, binning, shipping and maintaining serviceable and unserviceable parts
+ Responsible for the handling of hazardous materials including domestic and international shipping
+ Direct the distribution of all parts including AOG/AOM shipments
+ Responsible for the disposition of all surpluses and excess material at their location. Responsible to maintain accurate bin balances through accurate transactions and physical inventories
+ Application of Lean processes within their warehouse location
+ Manage No Fault Found quarantine and Warranty processes
+ Develop and oversee internal audits related to facilities safety, shelf life, electro static discharge, tooling and bin maintenance
+ Manage personnel dependability and Time & Attendance systems where applicable
+ Conduct Incident/Accident investigations and reporting

BASIC FUNCTION

Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee the operations of our Hayward Californiawarehouse facility. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound freight, leading a team of warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and ethics. This role requires proficiency in operating forklifts and leveraging technology to optimize warehouse processes. Key Responsibilities
Oversee Inbound and Outbound Operations: Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all freight. Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to streamline logistics.
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock audits, and implement strategies to minimize discrepancies, damage, or loss.
Freight Optimization: Develop and implement efficient loading and unloading procedures to maximize space utilization and minimize turnaround times.
Team Leadership and Development
Team Management: Lead, supervise, and inspire a team of warehouse associates, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Employee Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Training and Development: Provide ongoing training on safety protocols, equipment use, and technology systems to enhance team competency and productivity.
Compliance and Standards
ISO Standards Compliance: Ensure all warehouse operations adhere to relevant ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001 for quality management). Maintain documentation and prepare for audits.
Safety Regulations: Enforce compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations, conducting regular safety inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Process Standardization: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance across all warehouse activities.
Equipment and Technology
Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper maintenance and certifications are up to date.
Technology Utilization: Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory tracking software, and other technologies to optimize operations, track performance metrics, and generate reports.
Process Automation: Identify opportunities to integrate technology and automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Operational Excellence
Performance Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover to drive continuous improvement.
Cost Management: Control operational costs by optimizing labor, equipment, and resource utilization while maintaining high service levels.
Problem Resolution: Address operational challenges promptly, implementing root-cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Ethics and Professionalism
High Ethical Standards: Uphold integrity, transparency, and accountability in all operations, ensuring fair treatment of staff, vendors, and customers.
Sustainability Practices: Promote environmentally responsible practices, such as waste reduction and efficient resource use, in alignment with company values.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of warehouse management experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Experience with inbound/outbound freight and ISO compliance is essential.
Certifications: Forklift certification required. Additional certifications in warehouse management, safety (e.g., OSHA), or ISO standards are a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to operate forklifts and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
