A warehouse team member's duties depend on their industry of employment or directives from managers. In a retail setting, their responsibilities revolve around monitoring the inventory of products, receiving and unloading deliveries, preparing and tracking shipments, maintaining accurate data of all transactions using applications and software, and reporting to managers should there be any discrepancies or issues. Furthermore, a warehouse team member may lift heavy objects, load products into vehicles, process and scan products, operate machinery, and ensure the quality of products.
A warehouse driver is responsible for transporting packages and other merchandise from the warehouse to different locations. Warehouse drivers strictly follow route sheets to avoid delays in the delivery.
