Waste Connections is looking for a Roll Off/Construction Waste SalesRepresentative to support El Paso and surrounding areas in Roll Off Sales! Salary starting at $40k - $50k + Commission Responsibilities: · Selling construction waste and recycling removal services in and around El Paso and surrounding areas.
· Preparing bids, weekly call reports and cold calling new and existing customers.
· Being the main point of contact for a current book of business.
· Interacting with customers, non-profit, business associations and trade shows.
· Gathering contract expiration dates, documenting existing customer concerns and working with other departments to satisfy customer requests for service
· 70% of your time will be spent prospecting, building relationships and exploring market opportunities.
· 30% of this position will be spent in the office doing team building, strategic planning, and account management.
Qualifications:
· 2+ years outside business-to-business contract sales with a proven track record of success
· Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience
· Excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills
· Must be able to effectively cover a large sales territory.

Royal Waste (Waste Connections) is currently looking for outgoing and experienced Territory SalesRepresentatives for our New York City market. At Waste Connections, we believe in rewarding hard work and ambition, which is why this position has a base salary between $65K to $75K with UNCAPPED commission!!
Job Duties:
+ Selling commercial waste removal and recycling services to an array of businesses; retail, restaurants, office buildings, hotels, and industrial clients.
+ Prospecting of new accounts including calling on new customers "door to door," telephone prospecting, joining business associations and networking groups, and using technology to create new sales leads.
+ Building a sales funnel utilizing our Salesforce driven CRM tool, ARES to track leads from the initial stages to the close of deals.
+ Being the main point of contact for a current book of business and interacting with those customers to develop relationships, grow revenue, execute service agreements and assist with their overall pricing and service needs and/or concerns.
+ Spending time in our Operational Hubs, interacting with Supervisors and Drivers to enhance overall strategic sales planning and account management.
+ Working with all internal departments to satisfy client requests, resolve customer issues and to execute company initiatives.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Waste Pro SalesRepresentative provides for the short and long term growth of WP revenues through targeted prospecting, business development, communication, relationship building, and sound consultative selling within a defined Division area (territory). Through developed partnerships and interaction with customers, commercial clients, franchisers, business leaders, governmental officials and key strategic partners, new contracts are acquired and/or existing contracts extended for the collection, processing, transportation and disposal of solid waste and recyclables. The SalesRepresentative uses consultative/strategic selling skills to understand economic and buying influences and works with their Sales Manager and other internal business partners (e.g. Division Managers) to meet client expectations and close deals. Additionally, this position supports the prospecting efforts for potential clients in a defined area, including municipal opportunities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Develops maximum potential sales volume and profitability within defined territory.
2. Participates in partnership with Regional and Corporate Sales Managers in developing short and long-term strategic Market and Sales Planning.
3. Meets or exceeds sales call activity goals for new sales.
4. Clearly matches Waste Pro services and to sales support required to meet and exceed customer needs.
5. Develops a strong customer base within the regional geographical area calling on prospective customers by phone or in person visits.
6. Ensures customer satisfaction through direct communication and solicitation of feedback.
7. Drives acquisition, retention and renewal of contracts by developing and maintaining critical relationships with customers, appointed staff and others influencing decision makers.
8. Knows the competition and uses industry/company knowledge to prepare winning proposals.
9. Accountable in partnership with corporate sales, marketing, and regional management for developing bid and RFP submittal packages and insuring that proposals meet all specification requirements, required pro-forma, pricing and professional quality in appearance/content.
10. Interfaces with WP executives, managers, associates and customers in targeting opportunities and aggressively pursing leads.
11. Actively or indirectly in partners with Region Sales Manager(s) in closing contracts through aggressive negotiation, competitive pricing and proactive adherence to defined sales strategy.
12. In partnership with finance and regional management periodically initiates billing and contract audits to ensure best pricing and proper invoicing.
13. Stays directly involved in complaint resolution and resolves issues as needed in support of the customer and in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
14. Actively participates in community events and activities where applicable to promote WP's distinguishable difference (e.g. Chambers of Commerce, Local League of Cities, Keep America Beautiful affiliates, SWANA, community cleanup events, civic associations, local charitable organizations, etc.).
15. Keeps management apprised of individual and sales activities which may impact the Division, Region, and Company.
16. Uses available technology to monitor, track and report sales activity. Accurately forecasts monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue sales opportunities.
17. Partners with Corporate Sales, Marketing and Regional Specialists surrounding possibilities for press coverage, need for collateral literature, advertising and sponsorship recommendations.
18. Researches and stays current regarding competitor services and pricing.
19. Uses a standard format or sales automation tool for maintaining status of sales activities.

Responsibilities
+ Drive revenue growth in the solids control and oilfield services line of business within assigned territory.
+ Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, focusing on drilling contractors, operators, and service partners.
+ Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for solids control equipment, drilling waste management, and related services.
+ Partner with Sales, Operations, and Account Managers to develop and implement sales strategies, pricing models, and market penetration plans.
+ Maintain and grow customer relationships by conducting site visits, presentations, and solution-based sales meetings.
+ Provide technical expertise regarding drilling fluids, cuttings management, centrifuges, shakers, dryers, and waste minimization solutions.
+ Ensure local business development plans stay ahead of opportunities and clearly define each customer's value proposition.
+ Responsible for account ownership, opportunity pipeline, and contract execution in assigned accounts.
+ Accurately maintain customer and opportunity data in CRM systems (Salesforce/Beacon).
+ Support cross-functional sales efforts within other Clean Harbors service lines where appropriate.
+ Strong technical knowledge of solids control, drilling fluids, and oilfield waste management.
+ Proven ability to develop strategic pricing models based on market and competitor knowledge.
+ 3-5 years of direct sales experience in solids control, drilling fluids, or oilfield services (required).
+ Strong financial, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-oriented sales environment.
