WCA Group Inc company history timeline
1970: In 1970 Bob Simmons of Carolinas Waterproofing, Inc and Sam Foster of Sealants, Inc of North Carolina saw the need for a professional organization, which would benefit both individual members and the entire waterproofing industry.
1971: The Waterproofing Contractors Association, Inc. was incorporated February 4, 1971 in the state of North Carolina.
Greg’s father Jimmie was also a Boutwell Award winner in 1983.
The WCA Group Health Trust was established in 1991 when a concerned group of Wisconsin county officials joined together to create an employee benefit program that would meet the unique needs of local governments.
After the convention on October 29, 2002 Annette Boutwell died and that is a great loss for our association.
Beginning in the fall of 2006, the convention will move from Kingston Plantation to the new Marriot facility to the south.
