    About the Role: The Assistant Property Manager at Indigo Stuart Apartments plays a critical role in supporting the overall management and operational success of the residential community. This position is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day administration of property activities, ensuring high levels of resident satisfaction, and maintaining the physical and financial integrity of the property. The Assistant Property Manager collaborates closely with the Property Manager to implement leasing strategies, coordinate maintenance and repair efforts, and enforce community policies. This role requires proactive problem-solving and effective communication to address resident concerns and foster a welcoming living environment. Ultimately, the Assistant Property Manager contributes to maximizing occupancy rates and optimizing property performance through efficient management practices. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years experience in property management or a related customer service role. Basic knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in residential property management, preferably in multi-family housing. Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and local landlord-tenant regulations.. Proficiency with property management platforms such as Yardi, RealPage, or Entrata. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities: Assist in managing daily property operations including leasing, rent collection, and resident relations. Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of repair issues to maintain property standards. Support marketing and leasing efforts by conducting property tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, occupancy reports, and resident communications. Enforce community policies and procedures to ensure compliance and promote a safe, respectful living environment. Collaborate with vendors and contractors to oversee property maintenance and capital improvement projects. Respond promptly to resident inquiries and resolve conflicts or concerns to enhance resident satisfaction. Assist in preparing budgets, financial reports, and operational plans under the guidance of the Property Manager. Skills: The Assistant Property Manager utilizes strong communication skills daily to interact effectively with residents, vendors, and team members, ensuring clear and professional exchanges. Organizational skills are essential for managing leasing documentation, maintenance schedules, and financial records accurately and efficiently. Problem-solving abilities are applied regularly to address resident concerns and operational challenges promptly and satisfactorily. Proficiency with property management software and technology tools supports streamlined workflows and data management. Additionally, knowledge of relevant laws and regulations guides compliance efforts and helps maintain a safe and equitable community environment.
