Based in Hartsdale, NY, our MCRT is an integral part of Westchester County's Project Alliance, partnering with police departments to provide critical mobile crisis services. As a Per Diem Clinician, you'll collaborate closely with fellow clinicians, Peers and local police, making a tangible impact in your community.
This position offers flexible scheduling, with up to 20 hours per week. Seeking coverage for Saturdays (operating hours 9am to 10pm) and weekday evenings 5pm-10pm. There may be opportunity for additional coverage depending on staffing needs.
In addition to a competitive pay of $43.00/hour, you will receive specialized training and ongoing supervision from Licensed Clinicians, including hours toward LCSW.
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Collaborating closely with the Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health, 988, catchment area Police Departments, delivering services to individuals who are in mental health crisis. This includes de-escalation, assessment and referral to help clients live safely and prevent future crisis.
Being a part of our cohesive team comprised of licensed clinicians, Peer Specialists, student intern and administrative assistant.
Following-up with clients after crisis response, with aim to link client to appropriate services.
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications :
Valid New York state LMSW (can work toward LCSW hours) or LMHC required.
NYS Driver's License required.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Experience with community-based services a plus.
Crisis intervention and response skills are beneficial
Strong work ethic - must work well independently and within a team environment, plus across systems.
Ability to collaborate and build/foster relationships with community partners, including police departments.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated clinician to deliver high-quality clinical treatment services to children and families within the Staten Island community. The clinician will provide individual therapy, collateral sessions, clinical support to both youth and their family, crisis intervention as needed, and community resource coordination. Ensuring the offer of compassionate support tailored to their unique needs.
The clinician will collaborate regularly with other service providers to ensure a seamless integration of services. Ongoing professional development is supported through weekly individual or group supervision. Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide OLP/PSR/CPST services to assigned clients as needed, based on their specific treatment plans.
Conduct mental health assessments, and other screenings to ensure a compatible treatment plan is formulated with each client.
Provide services in various settings, including community-based locations, office settings, and telehealth, with a focus on tailoring the approach to meet the unique needs of each youth and family.
Facilitate collateral sessions to parents and caregivers to enhance the therapeutic process and support the overall treatment plan.
Maintain thorough documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to ensure payment for services.
Collaborate with other service providers to integrate care.
Maintain an active professional license and inform the agency of any status changes.
Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:

National Provider Identifier (NPI) required
At least 1 year of experience conducting individual and group therapy is required
At least 1 year of experience completing progress notes, psychosocial and treatment plans is required
Experience conducting mental health assessments for children is required
Ability to provide services in community settings, in-office, or via telehealth as needed
Minimum of 5 hours per week (Can get up to 40 hours)
Ability to work afterschool hours and evenings, Monday - Friday
Must be able to travel around S.I (Most of these cases will be in S.I)

We are seeking a dedicated clinician to deliver high-quality clinical treatment services to children and families within the Staten Island community. The clinician will provide individual therapy, collateral sessions, clinical support to both youth and their family, crisis intervention as needed, and community resource coordination. Full-time Description
Summary/Objective: The Clinician is responsible for the provision of comprehensive clinical services to clients and their families. This includes the provision of individual, family, group therapies, crisis intervention, advocacy, assessment, planning, discharge planning and interdisciplinary teamwork. Clinicians are responsible for formulating and implementing appropriate treatment strategies from clients and their families on their assigned caseload and for timely and satisfactory documentation of all treatment efforts.
Clinical therapy involves responsibility for providing psychotherapeutic services to patients with behavioral healthcare needs to improve their level of functioning. The duties are performed as part of an interdisciplinary mental health team. The work is performed under the supervision of a senior licensed staff person who provides the incumbent with oversight and guidance in: assessment and evaluation, diagnosing utilizing DSM, collaborative and individualized treatment planning, completing psychosocial histories and progress notes, individual and group psychotherapy and consultation. The incumbent does related work as required.
Essential Functions:
Performs intakes, interviews new clients to obtain information and identify behavioral healthcare needs and refers to psychiatric medication management staff if appropriate.
Participates in interdisciplinary staff meetings to discuss new cases and formulate treatment plans.
Provides psychotherapy to individuals, couples and groups using evidence-based therapeutic methods, to assist patients in treatment mental health symptoms, increasing level of functioning in multiple domains, and achieving more satisfying lives.
Makes referrals to a variety of health, social, vocational and educational agencies and facilities to arrange for supportive services for patients.
Provides emotional support needed by clients involved in the process of growth or change.
Refers patients to psychiatric medication management staff for medication review as needed.
Prepares and maintains a variety of records and reports such as patient treatment plans, case progress notes, referrals, letters and treatment and discharge summaries.
Contacts client families and other collaterals to obtain information to assess and monitor client progress and treatment as appropriate.
Provide crisis intervention and services as necessary.
Required to have a valid NYS driver's license and ability to drive legally.
Compliance with OMH MHOTRS regulations.
Actively develops clinical skills through clinical supervision and CEU trainings.
Demonstrates adaptability in response to change and effectively manages additional responsibilities as needed. Participates in clinical on-call rotation.
Performs additional duties as assigned to support CHJC and ensure the effective operation of the Community Clinic.
Special Requirements: Work Environment: Office environment will require occasional travel to conferences and/or meetings. May have contact with service recipients that are agitated and/or are in crisis. Some risk involved working with service recipients with mental illness. Works in an office setting with a controlled temperature environment. Occasional exposure to inclement weather conditions may occur depending upon assignments.
Equipment: This position is required to maintain a working knowledge of related office equipment including personal computers and printers, audio-visual equipment, telephone systems, copiers, fax machines, etc.
Physical Demands: Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, carry, push/pull, climb, bend, and stoop. Must be able to perform fine motor skills, read, and type. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full-time, flexible working hours to meet the needs of the program. Due to the nature of the position, the Clinician will need to be on-site. Regular work-from-home arrangements are not permitted.
Travel: Travel may occasionally be required throughout service area (Jefferson, Lewis, Oswego, and St. Lawerence County).
Required Education and Experience: Licensure by the New York State Department of Education as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LCSW-R) or Licensed Psychologist. (Permit authorized with provided supervision.)
