    This position is located in the West Texas operations as a member of the Bone Spring Plant team near Barstow, TX working for the Midstream Operation. Responsibilities * Adhere to and enforce all applicable company, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations * Execute startup, shut down and operating procedures for engines, compressors, furnaces, distillation towers, expanders, electric motors, fans, pumps, instrumentation, valves and alarms * Responsibilities include drafting SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) for new equipment and training operators on updated SOPs and LOTO procedures * Reading and revising P & IDs * Ability to coach operators in making accurate adjustments * Analyze flow streams using a gas chromatograph and product samples to make necessary process adjustments and maintain product specifications * Perform minor maintenance of compressors, engines, pumps, controls, piping and valves * Prepare maintenance orders and notify maintenance personnel of problem areas * Generate daily production reports including liquid production, downtime and gas volumes * Monitor and maintain inlet and outlet volumes. Coordinate with gas control, field operations and third party interests as required. * Complete assigned reports and logs (downtime logs, flare reports, SAP tasks, Intelex MOC tasks, LDAR requirements.) • Work irregular hours (possibly on-call), outside, around heavy equipment, and in variable environmental conditions * Monitor, maintain, and operate safety and fire protection systems * Accomplish job responsibilities/duties in accordance with WES Core Values Qualifications * Minimum 4-year gas plant operations or related experience preferred * Must possess a strong understanding of PSM (Process Safety Management) * Knowledge of cryogenic process, propane and amine operations. * Have experience in SAP or similar work order systems * Working knowledge of oil and gas operations including a working knowledge of natural gas processing facilities and related equipment, such as mole sieve dehydration, cryo operations, HMI and board operationd is required. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment * Computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook preferred Education High School Diploma or equivalent required. Certifications/Licenses Candidate must possess a valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle. Travel Requirements The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%. Work Schedule 12 hour rotating shift position including nights, weekends and holidays. Responsibilities * Ensure compliance with all company, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations. * Maintain, repair, and install plant equipment, including but not limited to natural gas engines and compressors, screw compressors for propane and instrument air, pumps, valves and actuators * Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime. * Read and interpret maintenance manuals, equipment specifications, and procedures to perform timely and accurate repairs. * Maintain equipment records and document maintenance activities using computerized maintenance programs. * Oversee the construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third parties. * Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring good housekeeping practices. * Respond to call-out requests for maintenance, relief, and emergency situations as needed. Qualifications * Experience in oil and gas production facilities. * Strong knowledge of gas engines and compressors, including maintenance and troubleshooting. * Experience with Ariel reciprocating compressors, Cat 3500 & 3600 series engines, Waukesha 275 series engines, various pumps, GEA or Frick screw compressors, turbo expanders, air compressors, and other cryogenic plant equipment. * Basic proficiency in computer applications such as Word and Excel. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a cooperative environment. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Certifications/Licenses Candidate must possess a valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle. Travel Requirements The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%. Work Schedule This position will be a 14/14 rotating shift schedule, and the candidate may be required to work overtime, weekends, on-call, and holidays. Essential Duties: Hiring for all positions from Trainee to Sr. Operators Under general supervision, maintains and oversees all Frac Water Services equipment during the rigging up to ensure they are working properly and safely, and according to the specific requirements of the customer * Determines equipment and best method to rig up according to the package selected by the customer * With the assistance of other Operators unloads and assembles the equipment to be used, sets up the service unit and initiates the rig up * Ensure drains and air reliefs are installed in proper places * Operate transfer pumps * Monitor water levels in frac tanks * Operate discharge manifolds * Safely handle hoses of various sizes (3", 4", 6", & 8") * Operate filtration units * Is familiar with correct procedures and performs basic routine equipment maintenance in preparation for next job * Cleans and checks tools and equipment * Performs routine readings of equipment during rigging up to ensure equipment is performing according to customers' requirements while always maintaining a safe operation * When needed, moves equipment around yard with forklifts, help load and unload trucks day and night, make hotshot and parts runs, sweep and mop shop and yard * Complies with Company safety policies and procedures * Initiates Job Safety Analysis safety procedures prior to the rig up and safety meeting/tailgate meetings * Identify corrects obvious hazards immediately or report to Field Supervisor if not immediately correctable to gain assistance * Attends in-house and/or outside training seminars to acquire basic knowledge of OSHA and Company safety programs and policies * Interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedure manuals * Ability to write routine reports and correspondence * Ability to speak and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situation to customers and other employees of the organization Requirements: * EDUCATION: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) * LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Valid Driver's License * TRAVEL: 75% depending on job site * OTHER: * Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening * Must possess a valid Driver's License * Able and willing to work a rotating shift schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime (if applicable) * Able and willing to work in inclement weather, climb structures, perform work at heights, and in enclosed spaces * Able and willing to work both independently in remote locations and in a team environment Physical Duties: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
