RESIDENT SAFETY: Ensure residents are safe and not in the way of danger at any time. Proper Supervision of residents at all times and performing necessary checks. Never leave any residents by themselves or in a situation where they would be unsupervised. De-escalate residents to maintain group safety and help them regain self-control. This type of work involves constant movement within the work area, and will involve walking or standing for extended periods. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: high school diploma, G.E.D. Certificate or demonstrated progress toward obtaining a G.E.D. as required by Kentucky law. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Must complete training course for certification of beginning school food service personnel.
