JOB SUMMARY: At the direction of Manager of Preventative Maintenance and Infrastructure, completes all tasks assigned to effectively carry out the program of work for the Operations Department. CORE FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES: As directed by PM and Infrastructure Manager or others- apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect surfaces, trimmings and fixtures of buildings and structures throughout the properties. Assists Facilities Trades Painter setting up projects, scaffolding and other painting related equipment Areas of responsibility would include both interior and exterior portions of the common area and project facilities. As directed, assists the work of Center contracted vendors, as they relate to areas of responsibility. Prepares written repair records, logs, test reports, work orders, etc. to accurately document work performed. Monitors and reports to supervision the inventory of materials and supplies for the Operations Department as tasked. Uses and maintains all furnishings, equipment, and tools in safe working order. Reports to Manager of PM and Infrastructure or Management staff conditions that require further attention to ensure unsafe conditions are not created or perpetuated. Demonstrates an ability to work in teams, to be self-motivated and displays a proactive attitude, as a member of the Operations team.
