POSITION SUMMARY: Provide oversight and ensure safety for activities and programs at the Alfond Youth and Community Center. Assist with daily operations of the pool complex, including water testing, general maintenance, and cleaning. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Oversight & observation of the pool area. Keep accurate and adequate records of attendance and participation for open swims. Record pool tests when necessary. Keep lifeguard locker room, bathrooms and general pool areas neat and orderly. Recommend needed supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance and safety standards to be met for proper functioning of pool area. Requirements KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Certified in Lifesaving, CPR, and First Aid. Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification preferred.
