A fabrication company in South East Michigan is looking for skilled welder/fabricators! The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for constructing items by cutting, shaping, and assembling various materials. The Fabricator/Welder will work with blueprints and specifications, using hand and power tools, and sometimes heavy machinery, to create products according to design. The position is temp-to-hire with a pay range of $19-22 per hour. Standard work hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm. No overtime would be available until after hire in. Responsibilities and Duties - Assemble and fabricate metal parts according to blueprints, schematics, and work orders. - Operate various tools and equipment such as forklifts, press brake machines, and pipe threading machines. - Rig and move heavy materials and equipment as needed. - Perform welding tasks, using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding. - Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. - Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner. CMS Mechanical is looking for Journeyman Welders with pay up to $38 to start! CMS Mechanical self-performs work in both the commercial and industrial sectors, including scopes of work related to the provision, installation, and service of heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems, process piping/systems, and energy systems. The latter includes electrical generation and co-generation systems, and all related peripheral elements required to deliver fully functional systems to our customers.
