I am currently the CEO and Founder of Critical Start. Critical Start provides Managed Detection and Response services that detect attacks and prevent breaches by resolving every alert. Our purpose built MDR platform improves the SOC experience by providing transparent triage of Tier 1 alerts with a mobile first approach at a fraction of the cost and time of building an in-house SOC.Previously I worked for 14 years in various roles at RSA, the Security Division of EMC. During my tenure at RSA Security, my jobs have included Area Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Presales, Systems Engineering Manager, and PKI Evangelist. I also had consulting positions at Lucent Technologies and Deloitte and Touché evaluating and deploying network and Internet security products. I am a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Sord Scholar Graduate of the McCombs School of Business. I attended Texas A&M as a President's Endowed and National Merit Scholar and obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering. After graduating from Texas A&M, I spent 5 years as an officer on the USS Jacksonville (SSN-699) fast attack nuclear submarine.
