Alamo represented Non-Profit, Public and Private sector employer organizations in the Health and Commercial insurance marketplace. Ms. Smith was responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the Company, helping to propel Alamo to its current position as one of the largest certified minority-owned full service insurance brokerage firms in the U.S., headquartered in New Jersey, licensed in over 40 states. With 20+ years experience in the health insurance industry, Ms. Smith is an expert in the areas of designing, developing, implementing and managing insurance programs and policies for business lines as well as planning and directing business analysis, risk modeling and insurance contract negotiations.
