Spun out and led strategy and business development for Citigroup Innovation including venture investing.As an innovation specialist, I work to identify opportunities that would otherwise fly under the radar of the ROI focused corporate operators. Investments with strategic focus and long term, customer-centric value are my primary criteria for growth.Working through the late 90s Internet boom and bust provides a unique perspective for new growth opportunities and the options and strategies for social and mobile commerce.All of my roles have been underpinned by my knowledge and experiences of tech and financial services. My time as a web programmer and site producer as well as my consumer insight training taught me how people interact with products online.Finance, deal structure and risk management was required learning at Citigroup. In 2008, I left my post at Citi, with $16 Million of venture capital from Citi and SK Telecom and a small team, founded Mobile Money Ventures in San Francisco. (My quote on partnering with SKT: http://is.gd/e2MvA)I left MMV in 2010 after achieving success (we implemented with Citigroup consumer business around the world including the first China mobile banking solution: http://is.gd/e2LUn), as well a distribution deal with Intuit/Digital Insight (quoted: http://is.gd/e2K4g). I have now come home to NYC to fund and work on my own startup projects like Zipmark and Capture as well collaborate with corporates like LianLian Pay and Deposit Solutions.
