Role Snapshot The Internship Program with WPS Health Solutions is comprised of two key components. The first component involves gaining practical experience to supplement academic coursework and prepare for future career pursuits. This will be comprised of a hands-on role within a functional area related to a relevant field of study. Project Summary Current active research projects including single-ply roof cover, aging farms, steep slope solar, IR refresh are ongoing research projects but also have many elements that have been stored under different data strategies as our processes have matured over time. While we are setting systems in place for the data lakehouse to ingest our newly collected project files, data, and metadata, there is still a need for this to occur for some of our older project files. This will require significant coordination between the research team (understanding what the data is and where) and the data analytics team. Qualifications Python: Strong foundational skills for scripting, data manipulation (e.g., Pandas), and ETL development. SQL: Proficient in writing complex queries, stored procedures and understanding relational database concepts (Microsoft SQL Server). Cloud Basics: Familiarity with Azure cloud data services and basic compute services. Version Control: Proficient with collaborative development practices, branching, merging, and code review (Git).
