Duties
Fire Service Instructors are responsible for instructing fire rescue training for emergency responders in Buncombe and Madison Counties following accepted outlines and course materials. Instructors are responsible for all documentation and records as required by the North Carolina Fire and Rescue Commission and Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College.
Minimum Requirements
1. High School Diploma / GED ; 2. North Carolina Fire Service Instructor Level II certification; 3. Specialized training certifications as defined by the course requirements i.e Technical Rescue, Hazardous Materials, Driver Operator.

South College Asheville is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Adjunct Instructor to join the DMS Department. This position is on-ground at the Asheville Campus in Asheville, NC.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop appropriate academic lectures and/or scanning lab, as well as learning experiences that allow all students to achieve course objectives in sonography.
Ensure that all academic program requirements and forms of documentation are completed as required for each student and submitted per established deadlines in sonography.
Provide appropriate and timely feedback to students.
Be reasonably accessible to students for questions and assistance.
Appropriately manage all classroom activities.
Submit accurate attendance/academic participation rosters as prescribed by the institution.
Submit assignment grades and feedback in a timely manner.
Be willing to assist with visiting students in a clinical setting.
Requirements
Education
Preferred Bachelor's degree
Required Associates degree
Experience
Must be credentialed in ABD and OB/GYN; in good standing with the ARDMS.
Must possess the appropriate credential(s) specific to one of more of the credential(s) offered.
Must document the equivalent of two years full-time experience as a sonographer.
3D experience preferred.
