Successful candidates will have expertise in multi-harness, advanced level drafting, experience using 16-24 harness hand looms (AVL compu-dobby preferred), and experience using industry standard software such as Pointcarre or Nedgraphics for dobby and experience with technical packs for developing woven fabrics. Ideal candidates have strong skills in layouts, repeats, color, ability to analyze and research current market color and concept trends and have experience designing wovens for the fashion or home industry or have a robust fiber arts practice using complex weaving.
