We're hiring a full-time Lead Instructor for our First Coast Technical Academy (FCTA) training center in Seattle, Washington!
JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Lead Instructor of Technical Services to join our team in Seattle, Washington.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep, hands-on expertise in commercial HVAC/R systems, electrical infrastructure, and building automation/controls. This leader will be responsible for supervising a multi-faceted FCTA training center as well as teaching technicians and supporting their career growth.
First Coast Technical Academy training facility is located at a Boeing facility. It includes travel up to 25% to support regional teams, training centers, and field operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the daily operations and strategic direction of the technical training center, ensuring high-quality instruction and facility readiness.
Serve as a subject matter expert across multiple trades including HVAC/R, electrical systems, and controls
Conduct training of technicians, and trains and supervise a small cadre of support instructors
Support the growth of technical training staff through mentorship, coaching, and performance development initiatives.
Help develop and execute technical training programs, ensuring alignment with evolving technologies, safety standards, and operational goals
Facilitate advanced support and oversight for BAS/EMS systems, including digital/analog I/O, system integration, and programming logic.
Assist with complex diagnostics, commissioning, and system optimization in the field as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HVAC/R, electrical, and controls, including 5+ years in a leadership or director-level role.
Minimum 5 years of experience training technicians in technical skills related to their job requirements.
Deep knowledge of commercial HVACR systems, electrical distribution, and building automation platforms.
Proficiency in BAS/EMS systems, digital and analog I/O, and programming for HVAC and energy systems.
Must hold or have held a valid journeyman or trade license in HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical (Washington State or transferable).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and influence technical strategy.
Experience designing or overseeing technical training programs is highly desirable.
Willingness to travel up to 25% to support field teams and training initiatives.

This is an adjunct teaching position and may be split between two persons. The schedule of hours and dates may vary and will be established based upon assignment. This instructor must be able to teach Field Surveying program and work closely with the program's advisory committee. WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work involves face-to-face instruction and is performed in a classroom which is adequately heated and ventilated, and in an on-campus outdoor environment, sometimes in rainy conditions. Occasional off-campus student field trips may be expected. Frequent use of computer and exposure to terminal screens in performing work assignments required.

This is an adjunct faculty position contracted on a quarterly basis. Lecture (theory) credits are compensated at $1,090 per credit, which includes scheduled class time and final exam days, in addition to a per credit stipend based on the high demand tier. All guided practice instructional credits for adjunct will be paid with an additional pay factor of 1.33. Future advancement in base salary, up to the current maximum of $1,640 per credit, is based upon a combination of years of service accrued at our college and professional development activity.

Master's or Doctorate degree stipends are paid on a prorated per credit rate.

The Department of Design at DigiPen Institute of Technology invites applicants for potential future positions of Adjunct Faculty - System Design Instructor to help teach the next generation of designers. The Department of Design faculty who teach these topics are themselves subject matter experts who bring decades of first-hand industry experience from the world of mobile games, PC/console games, tabletop games, user research, and more. Design courses at DigiPen cover a multitude of sub-disciplines within the broader practice of professional game design and development. The Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics, at the University of Washington School of Medicine, in partnership with Seattle Children's Hospital is seeking candidates for a full-time position at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor on the Clinical Practice Track. Specific rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as generally described in UW's Faculty Code Section 24-34. Anticipated start date is Summer 2026.
In addition to clinical work, teaching, scholarship, and service are integral to all Clinical Practice positions. The initial appointment period will be three years, at a minimum, with eligibility for renewal thereafter. Faculty on the clinical practice track hold multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Clinical Practice track appointments are not eligible for tenure.
The base salary range for this position will be: Assistant Professor range: $13,641 - $20,461 per month ($163,692- $245,532 annually), Associate Professor range: $16,487 - $24,730 per month ($197,844 - $296,760 annually), Professor range: $19,820 - $29,729 per month ($237,840 - $356,748 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the Children's University Medical Group (CUMG) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. The successful candidate will lead the development of a new Comprehensive Asthma Program at Seattle Children's Hospital. The faculty member will work collaboratively to build an inpatient, outpatient and community-based program that integrates clinical care with advocacy and research. The Science Division at Bellevue College is organized into seven programs: Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Molecular Biosciences, Engineering, Computer Science, and Earth & Space Science. Essential Functions
Typically, part-time faculty in Mathematics teach on campus, as dictated by program need, course schedule, and enrollment demand. Most classes meet daily, though there are some that meet twice per week onsite. In addition, part-time faculty are expected to be available to students periodically outside of class; to engage students actively in their own learning; to maintain high standards regarding course content; provide students with timely feedback on their course work and examinations; and to adhere to program assessment practices and policies. * Focus on each aspect of user interaction with a system, including UI, game feel, information architecture, and efficiency of operations. UX instructors help students understand the needs of others as they use products of all types, especially games and game systems.

Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Clinical Practice, UW Pediatrics Division of Rheumatology

The Division of Rheumatology, in the Department of Pediatrics, at the University of Washington, is seeking candidates for a full-time position at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or full Professor of Clinical Practice. Specific rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as generally described in UW's Faculty Code Section 24-34. Position is available effective Winter 2026; specific start date is negotiable.
In addition to clinical work, teaching, scholarship, and service are integral to all Clinical Practice positions. The initial appointment period will be three years, at a minimum, with eligibility for renewal thereafter. Faculty on the clinical practice track hold multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Clinical Practice track appointments are not eligible for tenure.
All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service.
The faculty member will engage in pediatric rheumatology clinical care in the outpatient, inpatient, and outreach settings, as well as immunosuppressive medication management and intraarticular aspirations/injections. The faculty member with appropriate qualification and interest, has the opportunity to serve as Associate Program Director (APD) of the rheumatology fellowship program.
The successful candidate will spend 90% time in the clinical setting (80% if APD), up to 10% time in the role of APD, and 10% time in administrative and scholarly pursuit including teaching and mentoring. Clinical effort may be reduced, commensurate with grant funding.
As the second largest Department in the UW School of Medicine, Pediatrics has twenty-one clinical divisions with approximately 1,400 academic appointments, including approximately 650 paid faculty members, 134 residents, 70 ACGME fellows, 230 staff employees and over 600 volunteer/affiliate faculty and continues to grow each year. The Department of Pediatrics is a close affiliate of Seattle Children's Hospital (SCH) and Seattle Children's Research Institute (SCRI). The Division of Rheumatology, at Seattle Children's Hospital and Research Institute and the University of Washington, is world-renowned as one of the oldest programs in the world and is the largest in the United States - with 13 physicians and 4 nurses that serve the states of Washington, Alaska, Idaho and Montana. Compensation
Placement on the faculty salary schedule is based on an individual assessment of education and experience. This flexible teaching opportunity initially starts as an adjunct teaching faculty which offers up to full-time hours (35 hours/week), with the possibility to transition into a tenure-track position within the first year of the program's growth.
