SUNY Polytechnic Institute is seeking outstanding candidates for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of Quantum Sensing or Networks. The successful candidate will have expertise in the development and application of quantum technologies for sensing and networking, including but not limited to quantum communication, quantum-enhanced metrology, and quantum network protocols. We are looking for individuals who can build a collaborative research program, contribute to the university's strategic focus on quantum science, and educate and mentor the next generation of scientists. We also seek individuals that are eager to help SUNY Poly strengthen its presence within the Mohawk Valley's burgeoning quantum technology ecosystem, which includes quantum research teams located at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Information Directorate in Rome, NY. AFRL is also home to a quantum-focused Extreme Computing Facility in partnership with the Innovare Advancement Center at the Griffiss Institute, a nonprofit talent and technology accelerator for the United States Department of Defense, to drive open innovation and collaboration at Innovare Advancement Center.

The successful candidate will:
* Establish and lead an innovative, externally funded research program in quantum sensing or networks.

* Explore the development of quantum communication protocols, quantum cryptography, and integrated quantum networks.
* Publish high-impact research papers in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at national and international conferences.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, both within and outside of the department, to advance quantum technologies.
* Teach undergraduate and graduate courses related to quantum mechanics, quantum computing, and quantum information science.
* Mentor and advise graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and undergraduate students.
* Contribute to the development of the quantum science and technology curriculum and engage in departmental and university service.

Minimum Qualifications:
* A Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on quantum technologies, from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized organization.
* A demonstrated research record in quantum sensing, quantum networks, or a closely related area.
* Experience in developing and implementing quantum experiments or working with quantum devices.
* Ability to teach quantum information science, and related courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

* Postdoctoral experience in quantum sensing, quantum communications, or quantum networks.
* A track record of interdisciplinary collaboration in quantum research.

Lecturers are responsible for a 2/3 teaching load of lower and upper division academic writing classes. Alongside teaching, lecturers support the Writing Program collaborating on curriculum assessment and development. Unit Information:
Unit enrollment averages 101 cadets with two (anticipated) instructors from a student body that normally averages 2725 students. We are seeking a highly motivated instructor who sets the example in leadership, appearance, fully exemplifying Navy core values of honor, courage, and commitment. Our Program is extremely active in all areas (academics, leadership training, community/school service, and competitions) and earned the Distinguish Unit award several years in a row. No experience in NJROTC is required but a willingness to learn, teach, mentor, counsel as well as coach competitive teams (Drill, Athletics, Orienteering, Drone, Academics, Cyber Patriot and JLAB with the NSI is necessary. Position Summary:
This position supports the mission and work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization. The After School Arts Instructor is part of a team working in afterschool programs at a designated school. Arts instruction will teach the principles of art education in the given genre of the class. Minimum qualifications include a terminal degree in Public Health or a closely related field by the time of the appointment. Specific teaching assignments will include introductory courses such as Foundations of Public Health and, possibly, in Global Public Health. The selected candidate will also be expected to develop additional public health courses and electives in the candidate's areas of expertise. These may include STEM-oriented courses in environmental health, advanced epidemiology, and/or the biology of human disease, or social and behavioral science courses in program planning, health disparities, or public health policy. The position requires enthusiastic teaching of first-and second-year writing courses (EWP 190: Writing and the Environment; EWP 290: Research, Writing and Humanities) and courses in Public Presentations Skills and Professional Writing. Instructors are responsible for a 4/3 teaching load of lower and upper division writing classes.

Primary Responsibilities
* Teach undergraduate writing courses with a particular focus on environmental writing and humanities (3:4 per academic year).
* Engage in professional or academic activities in campus-based, local, regional, or broader communities in an effort to make a positive impact and advance the recognition and reputation of the College.
* Collaborate with faculty across SUNY ESF to support writing on campus, as well as curriculum assessment and development, and committee service.

* Training and/or coursework in pedagogies of writing

Assistant Professor of Public Health: The Public Health program at Hartwick College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor starting in August 2026, pending final administrative approval. We seek candidates with expertise in Public Health to complement our interdisciplinary program with existing strengths in epidemiology and global health. The region surrounding Hartwick offers the successful candidate opportunities to conduct research on rural community health and/or refugee health and to partner with county health departments, nonprofit public health organizations, and researchers at Bassett Healthcare Network.
Minimum qualifications include a terminal degree in Public Health or a closely related field by the time of the appointment.
