The chemistry courses include Chemistry of the Built Environment (for Construction Management students), as well as General Chemistry I and II and Organic Chemistry.
Essential job functions-
Preparing a syllabus for the course and distributing the syllabus to the students, based on recommendation of the School of Sciences and Humanities and the provost office
Teaching lectures and/or labs of sciences courses in collaboration with the course coordinator
Preparing quizzes, labs and exams.
Grading assignments and exams in a timely manner
Meeting students during office hours outside of class as required.
Required qualifications-
Masters in Chemistry or an appropriate related field.
1-3 years as a primary course instructor at the college/university level
Preferred Qualifications-
PhD in Chemistry or an appropriate related field.
