DRIVING INSTRUCTOR - This position requires the ability to communicate, correct and connect. We provide fully insured driving school cars with dual braking and gas. The demand for DDA instruction is very high, and we're always booked out 3-4 weeks, so driving instructors can increase their hours at any time. Wilkes University invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Sports Management in the Department of Marketing and Sports Management within the Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership (AACSB-accredited).
The successful candidate will be expected to teach a range of sports management courses, which may include Sport Marketing, Sport Analytics, Sport Law, and Sport Finance and Economics, as well as other business and sports courses, including MBA courses, as needed. In addition to excellence in teaching, the candidate will be expected to maintain an active program of scholarly research, mentor undergraduate students pursuing careers in sports management, conduct and supervise field-based research, and provide service to the department, school, university, and community.
A Ph.D. in Sports Management, Business Administration with a sports focus, or a closely related field is required. ABD candidates nearing completion will also be considered. The ideal candidate will have prior teaching experience in sports management, a record of scholarly activity, and a demonstrated commitment to student mentorship.
