Job Description: The Department of Agriculture, Biology & Health Sciences at Cameron University invites applications for the position of Instructor or Assistant Professor of Biology (tenure track). This position will begin in August 2025 and is a full time, ten month faculty position that is renewable annually with satisfactory performance. RESPONSIBILITIES: Standard 24 load hour annual teaching assignment (12 hours per term) including undergraduate courses in human anatomy, human physiology, and other courses that support the B.S. in Biology and the A.S. in Allied Health Sciences degrees at Cameron University. Other courses in the area of expertise may be taught and/or developed, depending on the needs of the department. Candidates should be able to teach in a variety of formats including online. Teaching assignments will include the Cameron University campus in Duncan, OK and the main campus in Lawton, OK. Additional duties will include: active participation in service, scholarship, and required university, school, and department functions; mentoring undergraduate students in research; advising students; participating in program assessment; online course development; participating in recruiting and retention efforts; participating in departmental governance; and other duties as assigned.
