About this Position
Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking to fill a full-time non-tenure track faculty position in the Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM). The primary responsibility of this position includes lecture and lab instruction in OMM within the first- and second-year curriculum. Additionally, the position will be actively involved in patient care; assist with supervising the third year OMM Teaching Service (medical students and residents) at the OSU Health Care Center Department of OMM; assist with supervising medical students and residents at the OSU Medical Center hospital OMM inpatient service; and other responsibilities as assigned. Salary and faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

About this Position
The Clinical Assistant Professor of Cardiology position will practice in the multispecialty cardiovascular and thoracic service line clinic. This position is actively involved in patient care and teaching medical students and residents in the ambulatory clinics, as well as the hospital surgery/inpatient service. Appropriate effort and activity in clinical research and service will also be necessary as well as a clinical record of sufficient depth to qualify for faculty appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor. The position will work with existing with OSU-CHS administration to develop an operational practice. This position may be split between OSU-CHS and the US Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA).
Required Qualifications
M.D./D.O. Doctor of Osteopathy or Medical Doctorate

Cardiology Fellowship
Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
DO or MD degree, eligibility for licensure in the state of Oklahoma, Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Cardiology Board Eligible
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
The position requires strong analytical skills, advanced multi-tasking skills, and advanced problem-solving skills. Computer skills are needed to operate electronic medical records. Good communication and leadership skills are a positive. Interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with faculty, students, clients and providers. Devoted interest in education.
