Responsibilities and typical duties: * Be an integral part of our WORLD CLASS RAIL DESIGN group * Develop overhead catenary systems layout drawings, profiles, hanger tabulations, erection diagrams and technical specifications * Perform quality control reviews and design checks of railroad projects * Lead major tasks * Ensure compliance with all federal, state & local regulations Overhead Catenary System (OCS) * Serves as a project manager on mid-large size projects * Coordinates team and provides technical expertise for mid-large size projects * Will develop overhead catenary systems layout drawings, profiles, hanger tabulations, erection diagrams and technical specifications * Leads technical client relationships related to design, construction and phasing of the work. * Coordinates with multiple departments related to a projects scope of work. * Mentors staff to develop a team to support work throughout New England and beyond. * Strong analytical and communication skills * Develop and maintain strong client relationships with clients Qualifications Minimum Requirements * BA/BS in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field plus 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. * Professional Engineer (PE) * Valid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must have a Valid Driver's License and pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records review.
