The Software Engineer specializes in optimizing the speed, scalability, and reliability of software applications, infrastructure, and systems of the Claims Processing System, MetaVance. Along with writing effective code, the position will be responsible for designing, building, delivering, defining, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as response time, throughput, and latency of existing application. Job Description We're very much looking for .NET Web Developers with experience using MVC, C#, SQL Server, RESTful APIs. Other HTML/CSS/JavaScript Web Development experience is a big plus. We occasionally dabble in Windows Desktop application development, but that is not a primary focus. We are a Microsoft Shop and will remain a Microsoft-centric development team, so candidates focused on the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Java, etc) will not be a good fit. Also, we are not focused on Azure Cloud development, due to some business requirements.
