Aircraft Interior Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities• Inspect, remove, install, and repair interior aircraft components, including seats, panels, flooring, lavatories, bins, galleys, sidewalls, ceilings, and insulation materials• Perform cabin reconfigurations, modifications, and refurbishments based on engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements• Use hand and power tools to cut, trim, fit, and assemble interior parts and materials• Install and secure components using mechanical fasteners, adhesives, and other approved methods• Ensure proper alignment, fit, and finish of interior components in accordance with OEM and regulatory standards• Perform touch-up painting and finish work on interior surfaces as needed• Document all work performed in accordance with FAA and company policies• Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety protocols, and inspection criteria• Use technical documentation such as blueprints, maintenance manuals, and service bulletins• Participate in cabin safety checks and functionality testing of passenger service units, oxygen systems, and interior lighting Aircraft Interior Mechanic Qualifications and Requirements
• Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license is a plus• Valid driver's license• Ability to obtain SIDA badge (pass background check)• Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial aircraft maintenance, such as Boeing 737, B757, B767, CRJ700/900, Airbus 319/320/321, preferably in an airline or MRO setting. • Interior maintenance experience highly preferred (aircraft cabin, seating, panels, lavatories, etc.)• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, engineering drawings, and manuals• Proficient with tools and equipment used in interior installation and repair• Familiarity with FAA regulations, FARs, ADs, and maintenance practices• Understanding of hazardous material handling and disposal

Establish and maintain accurate academic and attendance records for each student, submitting attendance, grades, evaluations, and other documentation as required by International AeroTech Academy's policies and procedures..

Required Qualifications
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance (special considerations will be given for more diverse experience)
Strong command of both theoretical and practical aspects of aircraft maintenance, with contemporary knowledge and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized.
Demonstrate a high level of integrity, a strong work ethic, and professionalism in all interactions.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on customer service in an educational context.

Position Summary
The Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic will perform required maintenance on items listed in technical/company manuals. Perform adjustments, repairs, and replacements on aircraft systems, including engines, hydraulics, avionics, and structural components.

Position Summary
The Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic will perform required maintenance on items listed in technical/company manuals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adequate understanding of applicable maintenance manual procedures and troubleshooting techniques relevant to the assigned fleet. This role is primarily responsible for ensuring that all maintenance performed on aircraft, engines, appliances, and accessories is accomplished in accordance with approved aircraft technical data. Experience working on Metrea aircraft type and operate within the technician's maintenance training and experience is highly desired. While the A&P Technician reports to the AMT Lead, they are expected to work with minimal supervision on routine maintenance tasks and mentor mechanics at lower levels.
Role and Responsibilities
* Conduct visual and detailed inspections of airframes, engines, landing gear, and components for wear, damage, or defects.
* Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical malfunctions using blueprints, manuals, and diagnostic tools.
* Inspection Authorization (IA) highly desired.
* Adequate skills to effectively troubleshoot, repair, install, rig, and modify systems without direct supervision.
* Perform adjustments, repairs, and replacements on aircraft systems, including engines, hydraulics, avionics, and structural components.
* Experience interpreting engineering drawings and using standard practice experience to overcome challenges routinely encountered during extensive aircraft modifications.
* Support other technicians by demonstrating proper procedures, sharing technical knowledge, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
* Communicate with the AMT Lead to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and aircraft readiness.
* Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and compliance protocols during maintenance operations.
* Support aircraft inspections and modification programs as required.

• Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license is a plus• Valid driver's license• Ability to obtain SIDA badge (pass background check)• Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial aircraft maintenance, such as Boeing 737, B757, B767, CRJ700/900, Airbus 319/320/321, preferably in an airline or MRO setting. • Interior maintenance experience highly preferred (aircraft cabin, seating, panels, lavatories, etc.)• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, engineering drawings, and manuals• Proficient with tools and equipment used in interior installation and repair• Familiarity with FAA regulations, FARs, ADs, and maintenance practices• Understanding of hazardous material handling and disposal
