Previously CEO of Piramal Realty in India, a developer with equity participation by Goldman Sachs and Warburg Pincus, where he led the transformation and growth of the company from a start-up to the number two position in Mumbai in less than two years. This followed his tenure as CEO of Dubai Properties, which he restructured and revamped its processes and procedures and introduced innovative products and communities that brought back the company to relevance among its piers and multiplied its revenues from the first year. Prior to DP, Naaman held the position of COO at Qatari Diar where he co-led a transformation program that completely restructured the business model of the company where he was in charge of the international portfolio of over 30 projects. Previously COO of Emaar Properties, he also served as Group Managing Director of Hamptons International - the UK based property services of Emaar. As CEO of Emaar Bawadi, he was responsible for providing strategic leadership, designing the master plan and launching this 70 million sq.ft. mixed-use project. As Executive Director Business Development his focus was the identification of new growth opportunities and the delivery of the Strategic Corporate Branding Program and the successful launch of the first Armani Hotel and Residences in the world. At SOLIDERE he headed the development of the largest mixed-use project in Lebanon, the Beirut Souks, while having the overall responsibility for sales and leasing of all property restored or developed by Solidere. Previously he was Program Director with FRADIM in charge of iconic real estate development projects on the French Riviera. He practiced as a land developer in the USA. Naaman received his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and his MBA from Pepperdine University. He attended the AMP at INSEAD. He has held positions on the Investment Committee of Quilvest QS REP I & II and the Boards of Directors of Qatari Diar Istanbul, Montenegro, New Giza City and QD UK as well as Ajdan, a subsidiary of Al Oula in Saudi and Emaar Lebanon. He founded the Lebanon Chapter of MECSC. Member of the ICSC and the International Who’s Who of Professionals Society among others. Listed among ‘The Power 50’ of the most significant figures in the Middle East Marcom field. He has been a speaker/panelist in several conferences. He advised previously on real estate development strategy as owner/MD of ACRES consulting.
