What You Need to Know:
In this role, you will be manufacturing blood products and samples. You will be processing blood products after the units have been received from the donors. This will involve scanning in the units of blood, processing the units into transfusable components (red cells, platelets, and expressing plasma) and leukoreducing.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
* High School or equivalent required.
* Minimum 2 years of related experience in a regulatory, laboratory, or manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred.
* Good computer skills, ability to use a wide variety of programs and laboratory equipment, attention to detail, accurate documentation, and good decision-making skills.
* Good communication skills, with the ability to work on a team, as well as independently with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements: Requires standing, stretching, stooping and bending for extended time periods. Lift, pull, push and move objects of up to 50 pounds. May work in walk-in refrigerators/freezers for periods of time. May be required to wear protective clothing such as lab coats, gloves, face shields, etc.

Assists Executive Director in coordination and application of Project Able and Supportive Housing program curriculum in accordance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and City of Tulsa Guidelines.
Coordinates and implements multiple Life Skills Classes for the homeless population, including coordination of child care and staff coverage.
Coordinates the after-school tutoring program for children of Supportive Housing guests.
Coordinates and schedules evening chapel services and monitors for adherence to Salvation Army mission and philosophy.
Responsible for monthly and yearly statistical reports for all homeless programs, including Annual Performance Reviews for HUD programs.
Responsible for the integrity of the data entered into the Sharelink homeless database.
Coordinates evening staff coverage to accommodate the needs of Supportive Housing guests after hours.
Works cooperatively with the Executive Director and others to carry out the necessary tasks surrounding Seasonal/Christmas activities and other special events.
Supervision: (20%)
Supervises all Case Managers for the Supportive Housing, Project Able, Rapid Re-Housing, Pathways of Hope and Shelter programs and maintains quality, assuring the service delivery system in coordination with third party agency partners, as this applies to the individual client and/or family.
Planning and Development: (20%)
Develops, implements, evaluates, and ensures the success of multiple programs to transition the homeless population to self-sufficiency and independent living.

Plans, administers, monitors, and evaluates the day-to-day operations of a small Thrift Store with a limited donated items to ensure a reasonable financial return on the sale of store items; assists customers in a polite and friendly manner; prepares store displays that are attractive, neat, and orderly; rotates and re-stocks store merchandise to ensure quick turnover; ensures the accountability and security of all store items and funds. May be required to serve as lead worker to volunteers, beneficiaries, and/or subordinate store personnel staff ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures; processes, displays, and prices
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of the principles and practices of retail store management
Knowledge of the principles and practices of effective customer relations.
Ability to prepare and maintain accurate and complete bookkeeping records.
Ability to evaluate overall store operations in order to detect deficiencies and implement appropriate corrective action.
Ability to price donated merchandise reasonably and fairly.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
Ability to perform mathematical computations.
Education and Experience:
HS diploma or G.E.D. AND two years progressively responsible experience working in a retail store environment with at least one year experience in a supervisory capacity, OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certifications:
Valid State Driver License

Ability to perform frequent walking and/or standing, kneeling, or squatting relieved by lesser periods of sitting or operating a vehicle.

Service Work (90%)
Plans menus, purchases food and supplies necessary for preparation, serving of nutritional meals.
Cleans, cooks, and prepares a variety of foods and beverages utilizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and supplies in accordance with acceptable and economical cooking methods.
Ensures that enough food is prepared based on the number of people to be served and that food is prepared in a timely manner as scheduled.
Serve food/beverages in presentable manner; prepare plates for infants/persons needing assistance.
Sets tables with plates, napkins and utensils or sets up buffet line for self-service.
Cleans tables, chairs, floors, dishes, utensils, and kitchen appliances.
Stores, refrigerates, and freezes foods in a safe and economical manner; monitors expiration dates on all foods ensuring proper disposal of food with expired dates.
