With more than three decades of worldwide experience across advertising, media and digital marketing, Brien has been committed to creating the most innovative and accountable solutions for brands that deliver the greatest business impact.

Prior to joining Dentsu in August 2017, Brien was the President of Hearst Marketing Services and Chief Executive Officer of iCrossing. Brien also previously served as Chief Executive Officer of McCann Worldgroup, a leading advertising and marketing network, a post he assumed in April 2010. He also spent time at Interpublic, as the global Chief Executive Officer of IPG Mediabrands. He currently serves on the board of directors of Outfront Media, the leading out-of-home company in the United States, as well as being a member of the 4A’s and Interactive Advertising Bureau.

Greg Smith was formerly CTO of Nexstar Digital, the technology arm of Nexstar Broadcasting, where he developed and managed real-time bidding and fulfillment platforms for emerging digital TV ad markets.

Prior to Nexstar, Greg served as CTO and Head of Operations at Sizmek, a leading AdTech company centered on any-screen audience engagement. At his direction, the company created the first real-time data platform for massive-scale analytics. Prior to Sizmek, he was founder, COO, and CEO of Connected Lyfe where he patented adaptive multicast technology for television distribution. Prior to that, he was founder and CTO of Move Networks, a digital media technologies and services company, which created the world’s first adaptive streaming protocol for video. He has held executive and leadership roles at DGIT, All Media Guide, Edgix and PanAmSat, and SpaceSystems/Loral.

Greg holds dual bachelor degrees in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University and has studied Control Theory and Advanced Dynamics at Stanford University.

A digital media and marketing expert with more than 25 years of industry experience, Jack offers a potent, unique mix of digital and linear media expertise in senior roles at top media and technology companies, global agencies and with social media innovators. He is known for driving continuous revenue and brand growth, cultivating meaningful senior relationships with agencies and marketers, business strategy, organizational change and content development for the world’s leading brands.

Jack joins Amobee from Verizon Media, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships, leading all global agency partnerships, global accounts, global investment partnerships and the multi-market global solutions team. In that capacity, Jack was responsible for strategically driving growth with the largest enterprise customers across the company through global and regional technology, data, media and content partnerships.

In addition, Jack is an active board member and Treasurer of EFFIE Worldwide, and has previously held board positions with the Ad Council, American Advertising Federation, the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s Digital Video Center for Excellence, National Association of Television Program Executives and was a founding board member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s Digital Content NewFronts. An avid theater enthusiast, Jack is also Vice President of New York Theater Workshop.

Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
