You will love your students and many of your co workers are very nice and will make you want to stay even if the rest of the job is unmanageable and toxic
The administration plays favorites and will create a toxic work environment for you if you are not on of their favorites or do not fit their vision of who "fits in" and they fired me because of that, nothing to do with how good of a teacher I am. They are real life bullies and do nothing but reprimand when you can't meet unreasonable and unrealistic deadlines that take your time away from teaching.
The salary.
Some vice principals are respectful, informative and reasonable. The principal is an angry, disrespectful person who does not know how to separate personal feelings from business and cares more about exercising power than working in the best interest of the students.
Replace the principal and stop making all deadlines the same period of 48 hours.
It was difficult to prepare because I was sought out by the school due to staffing shortages. The rate of teacher turnover over is very high because the culture is such that most people would not want to stay.
