This question is about pre employment drug tests.
No, Clipboard Health does not drug test.A drug test is not required to join the Clipboard Health platform. However, some facilities may require a drug test in order to book a shift at their particular facility.
Clipboard Health is a technology platform that connects healthcare facilities with qualified, pre-vetted healthcare professionals, such as nurses and certified nursing assistants, on demand. Whether or not you will need to take a drug test would be at the request of the facilities you would be providing either short-term, long-term, or permanent positions for.
If a healthcare facility requires a drug test, then Clipboard Health will pay for that drug test and provide you with information on where and when to go to take your test. The nature of the drug test will vary based on the facility's preferences and may include a urine, hair follicle, blood, or saliva sample.
If you're required to take a drug test at the request of a facility, then you can expect to be tested for a range of drugs that usually include the five most commonly tested drugs - marijuana (THC), cocaine, amphetamines, opiates (such as codeine, morphine, and heroin), and PCP.
According to Clipboard Health's website:
We may request a drug test again at any time, even if you have already undergone a test if there is reasonable suspicion of being on drugs/ or under the influence of alcohol while enrolled.
You may be dismissed from doing business with Clipboard Health or be requested or required to undergo a drug and/or alcohol test if there is a reasonable suspicion, and/or for cause, that you are working at a partner Facility while under the influence of alcohol and/or illegal drugs. You have the right to refuse to undergo drug and/or alcohol testing at any time.
An applicant or employee who refuses to be tested or whose behavior prevents meaningful completion of drug and/or alcohol testing will be subject to disqualification from Facilities and possibly disciplinary action (such as termination) in conformity with the Clipboard Health Incident Management Rules.
If a test result comes back as a negative dilute, the applicant or currently Enrolled Contractor will be required to undergo an additional drug screen within 24 business hours.
If the second drug screen comes back as a negative or negative dilute, then the drug screen is considered negative.
Clipboard Health is a smoke-free workplace. Employees are not allowed to use any tobacco products including the use of regular cigarettes, as well as chewing tobacco, electronic cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, vapes, or any other variations while on the job.
