How to put a current internship on a resume?

By Kate Swindlehurst - Apr. 2, 2023

To put a current internship on a resume, use present tense and add the date you started your career. An internship is a great way to boost your resume, so adding it can be great even if you are still working on your internship.

When you add any current work experience, be sure to add it to the top of your resume's "experience" section. Make sure you make it obvious that it is an internship by giving it the title. You also should put the start date as whenever you started and the end date as "present" or "current."
