How to thank a mentor

You can thank your mentor by voicing your thanks, and showing how much you appreciate their help. It is a good idea to send your mentor a thank you note. This could be done after a conversation that touched you, or if the advice given by your mentor has helped you achieve something important in your career.

The thank you note that you send does not need to be accompanied by any gifts, or be anything fancy or time-consuming. You can simply thank your mentor for helping you reach your potential. If you do want to give them a gift, choose something that you know they love.
