What degree do you need to be a behavior analyst?

You need a master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, or another related field to be a behavior analyst. Certain behavioral analysts also hold doctorate degrees in behavior analysis or other related fields.

Behavior analysts need to have taken a certain amount of coursework and have a specific amount of supervised experience to become a board-certified behavioral analyst. You must also pass a certification exam that is administered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
