What is organizational restructuring?

Organizational restructuring is any major reconfiguration of an internal administrative structure that is often associated with an intentional change in management. It is done to change the business model of an organization in hopes of altering it for the better.

Organizational restructuring often occurs during large events such as mergers and acquisitions. During large events and changing business environments, alterations may occur. During Covid-19, many businesses had to alter business practices and there were lots of companies that went through organizational restructuring.
