You will be working in a creative and energetic engineering team developing future iPhone products with responsibilities for the design, implementation and integration of a variety of analog function blocks and subsystems including sensors, power, audio, and battery management. This is a great opportunity to be at the focal point of many multi-functional interactions with Apple internal HW/SW teams, Contract Manufacturer teams, and IC vendor teams through out different development stages. We expect you to be familiar with the design of portable low-power products, preferably with experience in a consumer electronics environment dealing with high-volume and high-quality products. Work with multi-functional team on systems level designs including system integration, schematic and layout reviews, manufacturing and production test support, systems validation and troubleshooting. You will perform hardware prototyping and demonstrations as well as work with IC vendors through the custom silicon design cycle including design review, bring up, bench characterization and bug tracking. Experience in a consumer electronics environment dealing with high-volume and high-quality products Familiarity with low-power electronics Familiarity with semi-conductor design Experience in prototyping, characterization and debugging of mixed-signal hardware.     Our team is responsible for designing rack power solutions covering in-rack AC/DC and DC/DC, to support our fast growing infrastructure at scale. Internally, we work closely with cross-functional teams to define the most efficient power hardware system, and to optimize for data center deployment. Externally, we work closely with industry partners, driving through the design cycle from beginning to end, ensuring high-quality product delivery. Our designs have been contributed to the Open Compute Project. **Required Skills:** Hardware Engineer, Power Responsibilities: 1.
