Responsibilities * The Patient Logistics Coordinator Paramedic facilitates patient admissions within the Ardent Health system by conducting initial screenings based on approved clinical criteria to ensure compliance with hospital policies. * Operating with moderate autonomy, they make protocol-driven decisions to support safe and efficient patient intake. * The role involves rapid assessment of patient needs, sometimes in a field setting, coordination with EMS and transfer centers, and collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital departments to optimize patient movement. * Additionally, the coordinator works with hospital leadership to identify systemic barriers to throughput and contributes to improving patient flow and care transitions. Qualifications Job Requirements: * High School diploma, GED or equivalent. * Current licensed Paramedic in the State of Residence (NREMT-P). * 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting. * Must be proficient in EMTALA. Preferred Job Requirements: * 3 years of clinical experience in ED or Critical Care.
