Position Overview:
An Assembler reads and interprets schematic drawings, blueprints, and diagrams to assemble electronic components according to product specifications. Supports production and efficient machine operation under direct supervision. Familiar with standard assembly concepts, practices, and procedures.

* Assemble, inspect, and test precision semiconductor assemblies and raw components as instructed.

Duties include a variety of mechanical manufacturing operations on implantable leads and electro-mechanical assemblies or sub-assemblies. Key Responsibilities
Execute pre-determined work assignments in support of manufacturing objectives. Including but not limited to:
Assembly of RNS products and implantable leads using small hand tools, microscopes, and various fixtures.
Performing soldering operations using soldering equipment.
Performing welding operations using Laser Weld and Resistance Weld equipment.
Performing laser marking using laser equipment.
Performing tensile testing using Instron Pull tester equipment.
Performing electrical tests using automated test equipment.
Performing sterile and finished goods packaging using tray sealing equipment.
Operation of transfer press equipment used for rubber molding.
Accurately follows all applicable manufacturing documentation in the assembly and testing of product.
Work with supervisor, engineers, QA staff, and project managers to develop and document manufacturing processes and procedures
Prior to executing work steps, ensures that all appropriate training has been received and documented.
Ensures that all tasks are executed in accordance with NeuroPace Quality System requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Requirements
Minimum 2-5 years device manufacturing experience, preferably in medical device manufacturing.
Ability to read and follow production/assembly instructions.
Moderate experience in manufacturing and/or clean room environments.
Ability to communicate verbally and in written format effectively and clearly in English.
Solid understanding of the QSR, cGMP, ISO, & OSHA regulations that affect the production floor.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, uses good judgment, and takes initiative to meet production requirements.
Ability to interact with necessary support personnel (ME, QE, QA, Materials, etc) to ensure effective operations in production areas.
Must have the ability to maintain the physical condition, mental attention and stamina needed to perform assigned duties and responsibilities.
