The AEO Assembly EHS leader will provide operational EHS support to the Assembly team located in building 800 of the Evendale GE Aerospace site, as well as the shipping and receiving team located within the same building. This position will work closely with operations to drive implementation of programs to ensure all federal, state, and local EHS regulatory and GE management system requirements are met. Job Description Build and assemble mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies including transformers, inductors, and bus networks. Interconnect and wire all components in accordance with schematics, blueprints, and engineering orders. Perform cutting, drilling, threading, shaping, and assembling of parts using various tools and techniques. Test, troubleshoot, and perform minor maintenance as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, following all safety regulations. What you need to be successful: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in mechanical assembly.
