Our ABA Assistant Supervisor is an experienced behavior therapist skilled at understanding client and student behavior and assisting in creating behavior support plans under the director of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, which facilitates success for the client. As an ABA assistant supervisor at Autonomous Behavior Solutions, you will: Provide direct care to clients in a home and community setting using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Provide weekly consultation and guidance to educators and administrators to support classroom and individualized behavior support systems using MTSS. Be responsible for preventing and intervening with clients' challenging behaviors. Learn specialized behavior approaches and implement behavioral strategies under the guidance of a case supervisor/BCBA. Attend any required training and staff meetings and complete all assigned readings. Assist the Board Certified Behavior Analyst in providing case oversight to BT/RBT. Effectively present complex information on behavior, behavioral assessment, and behavior plan implementation to staff. Model effective behavioral interventions with parents, special education students, district staff, and administrators using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles in school and home applications. Help to improve the client's communication skills, social skills, play skills, motor skills, self-help skills, school readiness skills, and self-management skills. Maintain accurate records through daily documentation of student progress and adherence to prescribed behavior plans. Work collaboratively with the client's parent, teacher, school psychologist, and other allied specialists to implement positive interventions. Travel to and from the client's school/home as needed. In addition to the responsibilities above, as an ABA assistant supervisor, you will also have the following responsibilities: Schedule regular community visits with caregivers to review program effectiveness. Provide parent training and education as needed. Make observations, collect data, and chart progress. Provide coaching and clinical support. Strong background in applying principles of ABA. Background in trauma-focused evidence-based practices. Be available part-time, 15-20 hours per week. Experience working in or with schools. Able to participate and complete mandatory Non-Violent Crisis Prevention/CPI training, utilize all aspects of this training in an instructional setting when necessary, and adhere to certification guidelines and restrictions. Two years of experience working with students with special needs. High proficiency in modern office technology, equipment, and procedures. Can provide reliable transportation to and from cases (including sub-cases when cancellations occur). Must clear a current background check. A current TB Test (within the last six months). Essential Job Duties •Establishes a positive, productive and professional relationship with assigned communities and colleagues. •Develop and maintain RSC new-hire training materials and keep the RSC manual up to date; •Train new hires and existing RSC's on company policies and procedures; •Regularly reviews internal financial/performance reports, HUD regulatory and RSC programing reports; prepares and submits all HUD reports and budgets for their assigned portfolio. •Responsible for completion of annual performance reviews for Team Members assigned to their portfolio; including follow-up and implementation of development or improvement plans. •Review and approve expense reports, staples orders, Per Unit Per Month (PUPM) Invoices as submitted from the Team Members under the assigned portfolio; •Responsible for all ADP Payroll Functions including Mid-week e-Times, Final Payroll, vacation/sick time off. •In conjunction with DRSP, oversees and manages the collection and updates of all Reasonable Accommodations and modifications for TRM/TPM and Per Unit per Month (PUPM) Programs •Works collaboratively with colleagues to elevate performance, implement corporate polices and maintain a high level of housing awareness. •Ensures Team Members assigned in their portfolio maintain all necessary resident and program data utilizing AASC Online; case management, progress updates, including interactions with residents, resident participation in programs, and sentinel resident events (e.g. falls, ED visits, etc.). •Engage and motivate Team Members under their portfolio to create programs for residents, including but not limited to social isolation prevention, health and well-being programs, and manage onsite transportation programs for each community. •Ensures Team Members assigned under the portfolio effectively collaborates with local agencies to review discharge plans for a seamless transition back to the Community; ensures proper follow up care is available. •Convene and facilitate team meetings with community partners for strategy development. •Ensures Team Members assigned in their portfolio complete and submits monthly management reports and additional reports as requested by HUD and TRM/TPM. •Supports DRSP with interview process of applicants to the RSC position and make decisions to hire prospective candidate. •Ensures Team Members assigned in their portfolio develops and maintains good tenant relations including organizing, participating and facilitating resident programs at the communities •Attends staff, departmental, and other required meetings •Must be able to work evenings or weekends as needed •Other special projects and coverage of TRM/TPM sites as needed. Experience & Education •Course work or seminar attendance as identified in the HUD Handbook to comply with Service Coordinator Program requirements. Certification must be current. •Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology or Counseling or equivalent combination of education and experience •Four years' experience working with elderly and/or working with those who are developmentally challenged. •Must be bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish (written and oral). •Preferred experience in health education and prevention programs (e.g. Chronic Disease Self-Management Program). •Preferred AASC Online and HUD provided Software •Preferred Two years ADP Workforce Now software •Must have foundational computer skills including: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook email and calendaring) and the Internet Travel •Frequent local travel •Position may require the employee to travel out of state to attend conferences and trainings •Must have a valid California Driver's License, proof of current vehicle insurance and a driving record that meets TELACU Industries insurer's criteria; must be able to use own vehicle in the course of work.
