What You'll Do: Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial litigation matters using tools such as Westlaw Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, legal correspondence, discovery requests, discovery responses, and other legal documents Participate in depositions, court conferences, hearings, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys Review and interpret applicable laws, rulings, and regulations Manage all aspects of the discovery process, including document production, interrogatories, and exhibit organization Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and case file management Maintain client communications, provide legal advice, and offer regular updates on case progress Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses Attend client meetings and negotiate settlements when appropriate What We're Looking For: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Licensed and in good standing to practice law in New York; admission in New Jersey is a plus 3-9 years of litigation experience, specifically securities and complex commercial litigation Strong knowledge of civil procedure, evidence rules, and experience in both state and federal courts Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and client service skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively What's in It for You?
