Court Representation (Staff Attorney Only) Representing clients in family law proceedings, hearings, and mediation sessions. Advocating for the best interests of survivors and their families. Collaboration and Networking Collaborating with community partners, law enforcement, and other stakeholders to enhance services for survivors. Participating in multidisciplinary teams addressing issues related to domestic violence. Serving as a link between the victim service agencies and the judicial and legal communities of their county. Providing community education, as appropriate. Continuing Education Staying informed about changes in family law and domestic violence legislation. Attending relevant training sessions and conferences to enhance legal expertise. Attending assigned trainings (e.g., domestic violence advocacy) and agency staff meetings. Completing necessary CLEs to maintain active WSBA bar status. Compliance and Ethics Ensuring compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements in the provision of legal services. Upholding the highest level of professionalism and integrity. Other Duties Assisting the Family Justice Center Operations Manager/Director of Legal Services as needed. Performing all other duties as assigned by the Director of Legal Services.
