This is accomplished through the creation of models and drawings of weldments, assemblies and parts used throughout Felling using Computer Aided Design. Designer II is also responsible for BOM creation with the aid of ERP software. The Designer II will use their experience to bring ideas to Engineering Management and to mentor coworkers and subordinates.

As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for the layout and design of mechanical parts and systems using 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD). You will need to understand how designs are applied, interact with other assemblies, and how they will be manufactured. Additionally, you will use engineering calculations, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and other software tools to prepare and compile necessary calculations to support product designs. You will generate engineering release documentation and verify its accuracy against applicable rules and standards. The pay range per hour is $23.75 - $40.40 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position.
