Town and Country Hotel company history timeline
In 1968, an addition to the main building introduced two function rooms, the Shelburne Room as well as the Lamplight Room, each seating approximately 200 people.
Expansions continued, and in 1977, a 16-unit motel was built, offering deluxe rooms and suites.
In 1979, 24 rooms and an indoor heated pool were added to the property.
2005 saw the group expand rapidly with the acquisition of 17 Holiday Inn Express hotels from within the franchisee community.
The string of acquisitions continued in 2006 with hotels in Leeds and Dartford joining the group.
In 2019 the Town and Country resort undertook a major renovation including upgrading guestrooms, adding new outdoor function space, a 10,000 square foot pool deck with a 4-story waterslide, new restaurants and lounges and a new lobby.
