In the role of Kitchen Utility Worker you will help serve meals and clear/wash dishes from residents' tables following Holiday procedures.
Prepare, wash and store dishes following Holiday procedures. Also includes cleaning the dishwashing area, food- serving areas and equipment, dining room tables and chairs and vacuum and clean the dining room area. Complete dishwasher temperature log at required times.
Assist in the setup of serving carts for each meal, to include preparing water carafes and distribute to each table, serve hot cereal at breakfast and bread at dinner, help serve meals to residents tables and deliver trays to residents' rooms when necessary
Assist with food preparation as assigned and work as part of the Food Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
As needed assist with putting away deliveries, set dining tables for next meal,
Other duties as assigned.

Performs clinical and administrative duties that assist in the delivery of effective patient care within assigned area. Greet patients; escort them to exam room and takes vitals and other MA related duties as assigned. Provide direct customer service and front desk assistance for assigned department to include but not limited to registering, telephones, scheduling and verifying insurance. Handles customer account transactions, provides customer assistance, and performs and/or oversees cashiering operations. Demonstrates knowledge of medical practice and patient care as it relates to the clinical setting and medical specialty. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Participation in Compliance and other important training is a condition of employment.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Greets patients and escorts them to exam room. Performs hand washing, weighs patients, takes vital signs and patient history, and documents chief complaint. May administer limited injections requested by a physician and supervised by a physician, registered nurse, nurse practitioner or physician assistant in accordance to established regulations, in conjunction with attending and passing Injection class.
* Performs blood draw and collection and labeling of specimen.
* Responds effectively to incoming patient calls and communicates pertinent information to physician or designee to provide for continuity and optimal care
* Appropriately communicates lab results, physician orders, and medication instructions to patients
* Provides direct customer service and front desk assistance for assigned department to include but not limited to registering, scheduling and verifying insurance and arriving patients. Electronic eligibility verification, updating patient demographics, ensure required referrals and prior authorization are in place for patient visit. Manage no-show list. Schedule waits list, follow-up, x-ray, referral appointments
* Prepares exam room for next patient and assures that supplies are stocked and available in anticipation of the provider's needs. Manages medical supply inventory and cleans equipment
* Obtaining "expert" level knowledge of the inter-workings of various insurance plans and staying abreast of insurance plans in the process of being added, deleted or changed. Collection of co-pays, co-insurance, self-pay, fee-for-service, and payment on account
* Maintains patients' record/files and participates in the revenue cycle process
* Assists patients in scheduling appointments and obtains referral when necessary
* May be required to analyze medical records and charge entry information for financial reimbursement within the guidelines and procedures. Work TES charge entry edits
* Completing basic Medical Assistant competencies in addition to departmental specific competencies
* Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and regulations. May attend departmental meetings and provide constructive recommendations for areas improvement
* Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED
* National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) Certification through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or active Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) Certification through National Healthcareer Association (NHA) OR completion of a Medical Assistant program and successful completion of NCMA through NCCT or CCMA through NHA within one (1) year from date of hire
* EMT certification in lieu of Medical Certificate and must pass the National Registry exam for EMT's.
* Current BLS (Hands-on) Certification
* Experience utilizing excellent customer service skills
* Demonstrated ability to type and enter data efficiently and accurately
* Proficiency in Windows navigation and a variety of MS Office software applications

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
Job Summary
The Senior Associate, Warehouse Operations applies broad knowledge to ensure the integrity, quality, and accuracy of the facility's inventory, which can including but is not limited to: controlling inventory adjustments and holds, profiling/sorting incoming product, resolving inbound and outbound discrepancies, purchasing supplies, ensuring timely delivery and processing physical returns. The Senior Associate executes the facility's standard operating procedures (SOPs) and responds effectively to routine and complex inventory/purchasing control issues.

Responsibilities
Maintains inventory accuracy by managing product holds, product movements, physical returns, purchasing of products and automated tracking of inventory.
Drives efficient picking and replenishment by profiling products to determine the best slotting, based on weights and measures, palette dimensions, frequency of product movement, expiration date, hazardous classifications and other characteristics. Could also drive efficient purchase orders, ensuring a timely manner of delivery to Cardinal Health 3PL's.
Continually monitors quality and productivity metrics including damaged product, adjustments, shortages, and cycle counts, among others. Regularly communicates with Supervisor and other internal departments on inventory accuracy and quality metrics related to given products or customers. Could also communicate with outside vendors to secure supplies for operational needs.
Investigates outbound discrepancies by checking for differences between physical counts and WMS records. Identifies and reports variances to Customer Care team and ensures that customers are shipped variances promptly, and documents all variances and issues in line with SOPs.
Should resolve inbound discrepancies by initiating communication with external suppliers and coordinating with Quality Assurance teams. Makes necessary adjustments in WMS and determines implications for customer order fulfillment.
May determines proper resolution of discrepancies and other operational errors to ensure that customer commitments can be fulfilled in scheduled timeframe. Promptly communicates the root cause and resolution to the Supervisor, Manager, and other internal stakeholders as necessary to minimize future errors.
Could place Purchasing Orders (PO's) for customers and tracks to ensure on time deliveries to prevent service disruptions.
Proactively identifies opportunities to improve operations and mitigate risks in inventory control and broader operations. Provides input into operational excellence initiatives through Supervisor and Manager.
Serves as a resource to other team members, instructs Associates on complex picking, put-away, and replenishment tasks to maximize inventory accuracy, is flexible to support daily operational needs. May assist in occasional warehouse audits by providing reporting and answering questions related to inventory control procedures, as necessary.

Responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the identified unit. Adheres to community standards and maintains the highest degree of quality care at all times. Remains in accordance with federal and state regulations.

* Ensures assigned work areas (i.e. nurse station, med. cart, medication room, etc.), resident care rooms, and treatment areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner. Monitors supplies and places orders as needed. Ensures medication room and medication cart are locked according to regulations.
* Follows up on any pharmacy recommendations to assure response and implementation of order changes.
* Attends regularly conducted staff meetings as scheduled by the Director, Clinical Services/Nurse Manager and participates regularly in continuing education in-service programs. Attends various committee meetings as required by the Director, Clinical Services.

Minimum Requirements
Graduate from Accredited Nursing School. Must possess a minimum of one to three years of experience in nursing service administration with one year of management experience preferred. Additional education or experience in such areas as rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements
Current RN state nursing certification in good standing with no actions on nursing license. CPR and First Aid certifications must be current.
