Cook Responsibilities:
* Prepare and assist cooking all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards.
* Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
* Assist with food preparation for residents.

* Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
* Perform other duties as needed.
Cook Qualifications:
* 1-2 years of commercial cooking experience required!

We are looking for a cook with experience in long term care or other healthcare setting who is able to be flexible to work either an 8 hour (9:30am-6pm) or 13 hour (6am-7pm) shift and EOW at the Gardens at Luther Park Community.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare food items for the current meal.
Place hot food items on cart to go upstairs to steam table.
Place items on steam table and take and record temps
Serve lunch to Small Dining Room, Room Trays then Large Dining Room
After lunch, remove pans from Steam Table, wash steam table and bring pans down to be washed
Start prep for next meal
Check menu for next day to see what needs to be pulled from freezer
Take food temps and record
Do daily cleaning by following posted cleaning schedule
Sweep and mop work area before going home, lock all doors and place keys in locker
