Jay Challa is the Chairman and CEO of Ace Info Solutions, Inc. a company based out of Reston, Virginia. He has over 20 years of experience in operations, business development, project management, and technical management. Since he co-founded AceInfo in 2000, he has watched the company grow into a thriving, high quality Federal IT contractor recognized as a leader in the field. Under his leadership and management capabilities, AceInfo has grown from a 2-person, $50,000 revenue company in 2001 to a mid-size company serving the Federal Government market space. The company has won many awards from Federal Government agencies, including the Small Business Contractor of the Year from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the National Directors Award from the U.S. Department of Commerce. Mr. Challa received Fifty Influential Minorities in Business award from Minority Business Enterprise Network in 2006 and was on the cover of the Minority Enterprise Advocate magazine in 2009. Mr. Challa lives in Herndon with his wife Kavita and his daughter and son, Shivani and Varun. Mr. Challa is a PMI-certified PMP and a certified Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia, State of Maryland, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia. Prior to AceInfo, he worked at consulting companies such as KPMG, BearingPoint, EarthTech (Tyco International Company), and Ed Zublin AG. Mr. Challa began his career as a staff engineer working on military family housing projects in Germany and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and in less than two years, he became the project manager on that account.

An entrepreneur in healthcare, financial services and energy, Mike has led teams that built Continuum, a multi-billion dollar global leader in insurance software; Healtheon/WebMD, the largest consumer health information and transaction clearinghouse (chronicled in Michael Lewis’ best-seller, The New, New Thing); and NEOS, a solutions-oriented geosciences company that is leading the field in multi-measurement interpretation (of geo-datasets) and imaging of the earth’s subsurface. Today, Mike leads Essence Healthcare and Lumeris, whose shared purpose is to slow the growth of healthcare’s $2.6 trillion in expenses while improving clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Mike and his wife, Betty, are equestrians with three children who are rapidly progressing their entrepreneurial careers in food distribution, energy and healthcare.
