A Brief Overview
Serves as support liaison with current Patient Service Representatives and patients. Assists with patient check in and collection of co-pays. Will work and communicate with insurance companies or appropriate entity to ensure prior authorization for procedures is received.
What you will do
* Complete ordering for all supplies for the office and monitor expiration dates on items that expire, if applicable.
* Complete templates for the providers schedule when necessary.
* Assists in registering patients, collecting co-pays and patient balances at time of service.
* Completes prior authorizations as requested by providers, nursing staff and insurance companies.
* Assists patients with preparation and completion of appropriate paperwork for financial assistance.
* May be cross-trained into other functions to assist in the patient care delivery system.
* Run reports to track communication information with providers and administration.
* Manage and monitor the credentialing processes for our providers including Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers associated with our practice, if applicable.

A Brief Overview
Performs diverse duties as they relate to the department to include, but not limited to completing prior and pre-authorizations for patients insurance companies, working appeals for insurance coverage, verifying benefits, making referrals and scheduling pre-operative physical, and reviewing surgery information with patients. Responsible for scheduling, maintaining, and disseminating an accurate surgery schedule, including acquisition, retention, and organization of documentation, and will provide clerical services for the department as indicated.
What you will do
* Obtains information (including physician orders to schedule tests/procedures only) from physician offices for scheduling tests, procedures and admissions in an accurate, timely and sequential manner.
* Facilitates in coordinating a plan of care for patients with various departments throughout the hospital and clinics including working with equipment vendors for surgical equipment needs.
* Coordinates care between facilities for utilization of telemedicine to ensure continuity of care if applicable.
* Communication of information to physicians, staff, families, etc., when directed and to do so in an appropriate and professional manner.
* Assists with the collection and maintenance of records as needed by Performance Improvement, Joint Commission accreditation, CARF certification, OSHA guidelines, or as my be required by law.
* Coordinates scheduling of specialized equipment based on procedures.
* Maintains physician calendar, procedure schedule and all coordinating orders for procedures.

Job Summary
The Senior Patient Access Representative serves as a liaison between patients, families, physicians and medical support staff. Specific duties vary by location and may include the following: Collaborates with multi-disciplinary team to ensure medical services are appropriately scheduled for patient. The Credentialing Specialist is responsible and accountable for oversight of tasks and processes developed to facilitate the credentialing process for initial and reappointment applications to medical staff, professional health staff and allied health staff. Must be able to work on multiple daily tasks with efficiency and high-quality accuracy while handling multiple internal and external customer communications. Responsible for planning work to meet regulatory and customer defined deadlines, which requires coordination to minimize redundancy of work when multiple organizations share common providers.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required. In lieu of education, leadership may consider an Associate's degree and 3 years of applicable experience.
Minimum of two years of experience in credentialing, provider services, administrative support, business or healthcare experience preferred.

Position Summary:
Centralized scheduling for the NCH cardiologists, APP's and surgeons, including answering incoming patient and referring office calls, electronic referral processing, clinical workload requests, following up on voicemails, data entry of single to multiple appointments utilizing multiple screens and modules to coordinate with acute and ambulatory modules, EMR creation, obtaining patient demographics and instructing patients prior to procedures according to guidelines.
Work Schedule:
Forty hours per week, Monday through Friday. Hours are 8 am until 5 pm.
Education/Experience:
High School diploma required. Associate degree from an accredited university/college and/or hospital, medical office, clinic, or hospital business operations experience preferred.

A Brief Overview
Performs diverse duties as they relate to the department to include, but not limited to completing prior and pre-authorizations for patients insurance companies, working appeals for insurance coverage, verifying benefits, making referrals and scheduling pre-operative physical, and reviewing surgery information with patients. Responsible for scheduling, maintaining, and disseminating an accurate surgery schedule, including acquisition, retention, and organization of documentation, and will provide clerical services for the department as indicated.
What you will do
* Obtains information (including physician orders to schedule tests/procedures only) from physician offices for scheduling tests, procedures and admissions in an accurate, timely and sequential manner.
* Facilitates in coordinating a plan of care for patients with various departments throughout the hospital and clinics including working with equipment vendors for surgical equipment needs.
* Coordinates care between facilities for utilization of telemedicine to ensure continuity of care if applicable.
* Communication of information to physicians, staff, families, etc., when directed and to do so in an appropriate and professional manner.
* Assists with the collection and maintenance of records as needed by Performance Improvement, Joint Commission accreditation, CARF certification, OSHA guidelines, or as my be required by law.
* Coordinates scheduling of specialized equipment based on procedures.
* Maintains physician calendar, procedure schedule and all coordinating orders for procedures.
