About the Role
The primary duty of this role is to oversee all operations of the venue including the management of all staff and vendors, communication with clients and guests, the oversight of all procedures throughout the day and quick resolution of any problems that may come up.
Every day will be a little bit different and this role requires wearing many hats. You are the decision maker, head of multiple departments and responsible for all sales, wedding delivery, guest experience and overall presentation of the venue. Main Responsibilities
Responsible for the viability and profitability of the venue. Including, but not limited to, running the Sales team of the venue to meet sales quotas issued by Head Office weekly, monthly and quarterly.
Hiring new employees (including posting job ads, interviewing and choosing candidates for roles in the venue).
Collecting and sending all payroll information.
Creating and running all staff schedules.
All grounds and building maintenance upkeep for the building. Including hiring, monitoring, paying and running any service vendors such as lawn maintenance, plumbing, cleaners, electrical, etc. As well as getting any non-optimum situations with the property handled promptly.
Running the venue staff and keeping them inspired and productive. Inspecting all areas routinely and fixing any issues or problems that are found. Working with the staff to ensure they are trained and doing well.
Reporting statistics for the venue to Head Office weekly.
Handling all Purchase Order requests and updating/approving the Purchase Order sheet weekly.
Approving any contract addendums for clients asking for changes/allowances in their contract.
Approving any security deposit returns and sending all information about them to Finance.
Weekly production meetings with Head Office to go over General Manager Delivery and Sales.
Keeps the building stocked with all necessities to operate including cleaning supplies, bath tissue, cleaning equipment, hand soaps, etc.
Ensures all management spreadsheets, calendars and documents are updated correctly and on time each week.
Creates relationships with the community and other vendors to establish a network of wedding and event professionals that help bring business to the venue.
Oversees all events in the venue and ensures that all goes smoothly and clients are happy. Ensures all client folders are up-to-date and includes all information needed for a successful wedding or event.
Works with Head Office Sales and Marketing staff on all marketing efforts.
Works with Head Office Interiors and Properties Departments to plan, strategize and execute any renovations, upgrades and changes to the property.
Carries out all Human Resources functions within the venue, in coordination with the HR Rep at Head Office. This includes onboarding new employees, handling exiting employees, hiring, performance reviews, disputes, disciplinary actions, etc.

Irrigation wet checks to ensure trees are receiving water.
Able to pick up and move items and trees up to 50 lbs.
Check equipment oil, water and fuel before starting the machine.
Report to the team leader or manager issues noticed among the crops such as disease, insect and weed pressure.
Assist in picking up trees after storms.
Operate an ATV.
Follow all CL safety rules, regulations and PPE requirements.
All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
1+ month of prior experience working in a nursery or tree farm, in cultivation/harvesting and/or installation of commercial plant material, handling both manual and machine tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities.
Prior irrigation maintenance experience is a plus.
Basic knowledge of irrigation clocks and electronic valves for troubleshooting purposes.
Plant knowledge and identification is a plus.
Knowledge of agricultural equipment is a plus.
Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
REQUIRED LICENSES / HOURS OF WORK
Valid driver's license and clean driving record a plus.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Saturday, 40+ hours per work week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Successful completion of the Academy is required for this position.

The Peer Specialist will be a role model competency in recovery and ongoing coping skills. Will provide individualized case management services (linkages to medical, community and specialty services) as needed by the person served.
Position Expectation

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Attends and participates in community forms dealing with substance abuse and mental health issues and concerns.
Speaks to individuals regarding services received and provides feedback to both the department and providers.
Assist providers in developing role recovery objectives that meet individual progress towards their goals.
Will discuss with individual's areas within the provider's service delivery that needs to the targeted for improvement.
Engages individuals to talk about their experiences to promote understanding of life experiences and their effects on functioning and to promote hope for recovery.
Can develop rapport with persons involved in the criminal justice system, who have alcohol, addiction, mental health issues or who have other behavioral/emotional difficulties.
Assists with enrollment for services provided by community behavioral health providers.
Assist provider staff in identifying program environments that are conducive to recovery; lend their unique insight into mental illness and what makes recovery possible.
Assists in peer group support utilizing the Illness Management and Recovery model to facilitate problem solving, communication skills development and personal growth.
Provides services with area/s of competency, i.e. life experience, training, certification, education or other background in the service area. Seeks direction from clinicians when needs fall outside areas of competency.
Assists in completing and maintaining a personal recovery plan which includes identified person-centered strengths, needs, abilities, and goals, interventions to assist the person served in reaching these goals and progress made toward these goals.
Attends treatment teams meeting as requested to promote and support consumer's insight to recovery as directed.
Performs other reasonable and related duties as assigned.
Minimum Training and Experience
Requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. and at least one (1) year of full-time experience in a mental health or addictions treatment setting.
Required satisfaction of passing eighty (80%) percent of the core competency job requirements that are required or the position.
Incumbent will have completed all mandatory training required by Tri-County and obtained certification as a Certified Peer Specialist by the Florida Certification Board within one (1) year of initiating this position.
Requires knowledge of addictions treatment and/or mental health treatment programs and supportive services.
Requires general understanding of the causes, nature, and treatment of substance abuse and/or mental health problems.

Prepares rooms for new admissions, including setting up personal care items and vital sign equipment. Welcomes new admissions and orients patients to their rooms.
Transfers patients between beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs with assistance from other personnel.
Ensures patient and personal safety by following proper lifting and transporting techniques. Documents personal care, intake and output, vital signs, and weights according to policy.
Collects and labels patient specimens at bedside and sends them to the lab for analysis. Reports changes in patient status to appropriate personnel in prompt manner.
